US vs China trade war

I had been hoping that Trump would ease off on this after seeing the market’s reaction to his previous salvos but no such luck.

One of the most worrying things about this for me, from an investor point of view, is that he seems to care more about keeping his supporters happy than the stock market doing well. Despite tweeting about the market whenever it’s at a high.

And that’s before you get to his attacks on the Federal Reserve :see_no_evil:

People say how terrifying it is that he has control over the nuclear weapons, but he’s probably capable of causing as much damage with Twitter

When you dig a hole, dig deeper. That seems to be his philosophy.

It’s going to be the greatest and bestest home ever though.

After so many months of trade war talk being on the back burner they are back again.

As the US is getting closer to it’s next election talks about tariffs are back.

This time aimed at the EU

The airline tariffs will be a target on the UK and our manufacturing, but that is a battle which has been going on for years. The two major manufacturers are both beloved by their own nations (not to mention for security reasons) meaning this action isn’t unexpected.

It will be interesting to see what other tariffs will be targeting the UK, if any.
